Our client is a leading FMCG company with a strong portfolio of A-brands and a solid position within retail, e-commerce, and foodservice. From their modern office in Hoofddorp, they work daily on strengthening their market position, with innovation and sustainability as important pillars. To expand the commercial team, we are looking for a driven Online Sales Manager sees and capitalises on opportunities within the rapidly changing digital landscape.

The function

In the role of Online Sales Manager, you will be responsible for further developing and delivering the digital sales strategy. You will work closely with key account managers, e-commerce marketers, and trade marketing to achieve maximum visibility and revenue growth across online retail channels, marketplaces, and direct-to-consumer platforms.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Drawing up and carrying out the strategic e-commerce sales plan for the Netherlands and (possibly) international markets
  • Analysing online sales data and customer behaviour; translating into concrete sales opportunities
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with e-commerce partners and retailers (including bol.com, Amazon, AH.nl, Jumbo, etc.)
  • Optimising product presentation, pricing, promotions, and availability on digital platforms
  • Coordinating online campaigns together with digital marketing and trade teams
  • Identifying trends and developments in the market and translating them into new initiatives
  • Reporting to the Sales Director Benelux

Who are we looking for?

An energetic commercial professional with a strong affinity for e-commerce and retail. You are analytical, independent, and know how to drive growth with data and customer insights.

Your profile

  • HBO/WO working and thinking level, preferably in a commercial direction
  • At least 3 years of experience in a sales/e-commerce role within FMCG or retail
  • Experience with online sales channels, marketplaces and/or D2C platforms
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a strong commercial mindset
  • You work data-driven and have experience with e-commerce KPIs and dashboards
  • Good command of Dutch and English
